okay so one of the reasons i eventually go back to riri.my, every time i try using a new domain name, is those peaky automated “reputation” checkers that would mark my website as “high risk likely”, “suspicious”, “scam likely”, or whatever else those idiotic tools use. and then people’s antivirus programs show them some scary warnings and completely blocks them from accessing my website.

we have to be real, the majority of people would be normies, who would blindly trust those kind of warnings. i just can’t believe in the world of artificial intelligence we judge domains based on heuristics alone. even a dumb LLM would have enough context to realize what kind of website i am running lol. like, the fuck you mean a website looking like this is “scam likely”? my sweet brother in christ i ain’t even selling anything. how come i can “scam”. like let’s be fucking real for a minute.. there’s nothing “wrong” or “scammy” about my website, but oh because i have a new domains those “security” tools with half a brain cell of understanding suddenly fire all the damn alarms. like what the fuck? ok ai is bullshit, we all agree, but it is factual LLMs and reasoning models exist. how come you aren’t running my shit through it. and if you actually are, how come your model can’t reason and see my website for what it is... a simple dumb blog.

and don’t get me started with dumbest of the dumb “security tools” that cry how no valid business information is found or how “website owner uses whois protection services” my fucking fault for not wanting strangers to know my personal information i guess. why is the default assumption to those tools “a webshop, but we can’t find identifiable information, thus this is a scam”. the internet isn’t meant only for companies and only for online stores. again, i am repeating myself, those “scanners” should be able to get enough context from what’s available and judge my website through that, instead of slapping the generic “scam likely” label.

like it would take a reasonable human a picosecond to realize what kind of website my website is. so why can’t those multimillion companies develop their assessment tools with fucking reasoning algorithms? they surely can, but refuse to, so they can fuck the little guys up! some even require you to dox yourself (with a picture of an ID / passport) for them to CONSIDER reevaluating your website. i won’t namedrop but i will point fingers: “doctor”. its genuinely fucking ridiculous. like this specific one technically says that ID and address is optional but when you get to the last page of reeval form you need to check that you agree that they may not be able to process the request if form isnt properly filled. most of the form is the “optional” personal information. come on. im not stupid. this basically means “legally we must say this is optional, but if you skip it, good luck” lol.

i know my frequent readers might be annoyed by domain swaps, but generally don’t care, but when someone new comes and receives the “scary” warning, they’ll turn back, leave, and never come back. just because the tool couldn’t help itself but mark an innocent blog as “suspicious”. some of those tools are great, you can email them, and they’ll reevaluate no questions asked, meanwhile a certain “doctor” asks for far too much personal information lol. since i plan to keep this domain, it’ll be fine in a few months, because ill become “trusted” but until then, i am kinda fucked lol
